Red Bull's leadership is said to be extremely annoyed with Max Verstappen for putting the team in the waiting room again. According to De Limburger, the shareholders had hoped for more loyalty from the Dutchman and are still waiting for his definite "yes". It is the third year running that Red Bull has had to wait until at least the summer break to learn whether Verstappen is staying, despite a contract that runs to 2028. The same report says Red Bull believes Verstappen has banked hundreds of millions with them and should show some gratitude. Verstappen's side counters that the clauses were signed by Dietrich Mateschitz and Helmut Marko back in 2022, and he wants to see Red Bull close the gap before committing. Loyalty, or leverage?
